Guilds Lake Inn wanted a website that expressed their passion for homemade meals made from the freshest locally available ingredients. The custom navigation and slide shows were done using Jquery, eliminating the need for Flash. On the back-end we incorporated MySQL to drive the Daily Specials portion of the site. The soup of the day and the daily special are entered into a custom calendar web application and saved in the database. Upon entering the site, the user is shown the specials for that specific day. Also, the user may enter their email address and have the specials emailed to them on a weekly basis.
